There is more to school than education. For example, developing street smarts is an important factor. Also, dealing with rejection, bullies and peers is another. My fear with homeschooling is with eligious extremists teaching false information to kids. We live in a global and very competitive world. If a child is taught nonsense, he or she is at a major disadvantage. If we allow homeschooling, perhaps we should have strict punishments for parents that teach nonsense? It is child abuse.
